The Versatile Blogger Award

Thanks to icebreaker694 for the nomination! Definitely check out their blog, it’s great! This is my first ‘award’ tag, so I’m very excited!!

Rules:

  • Show the award on your blog
  • Thank the person that has nominated you
  • Share 7 different facts about yourself
  • Nominate 15 blogs of your choice
  • Link your nominees and let them know of your nomination

Onto the facts: (these are so random, oh my goodness)

  1. I cannot speed-read for the life of me, which makes my life as a student (and book lover) that much more difficult
  2. I have a mane of curly hair (and I have no desire to straighten it)
  3. My favourite tea is earl grey
  4. I really really really want a dog right now, but I also have this weird thing where I know I’m not currently financially stable enough nor emotionally stable enough to actually care for another living thing
  5. I love talking about stars and the universe and life and if you like talking about that too then we should talk okay? okay
  6. I’m a fairly optimistic person and I’m naive in a lot of ways but I’m also super loyal and loving and I’ll protect the people I care about with all I’ve got
  7. I consider myself a feminist ~wooo~

I'm Emma Kath. Welcome to my blog! This is where I post my original book reviews, litstyle (lifestyle for the lit-nerd), and other bookish things. A little about me: I'm Canadian, and currently a student majoring in English lit and cultural studies. I'm an introvert (INFJ, if you believe in that sort of thing), sarcastic to the bone, I love art and history, and hope to one day travel around a bit. Until then, I'll be reading, writing, and trying to spread a little kindness around the internet. If you have any questions or inquiries, feel free to contact me!

  1. Thanks for nominating me Emma Kath! I can’t speed read either. Having a dog is tough, not only financially but also you have to walk him/her everyday and not a lot of places you can go that you can bring him/her. Interesting facts and thanks for sharing!

  2. First off: Congrats!! Also, I loooove curly hair, wish I had naturally curly hair, but mine’s straighter than straight.. Luckily perms exist :p Dogs are so much fun! But also a lot of work.. make sure you’re mentally prepared to take on a child of your own.

    1. Thanks so much! 😁 Sometimes I definitely wish I could trade my curls for straight hair, so it definitely goes both ways! And yes – as much as I want one, I’m going to wait. I’ll just have to spoil all my friends dogs in the mean time 😜

  3. A little late because I was on a break, but thank you for the tag!! ❤ I can't speed read either and I can see why it's handy when it comes to massive tomes for school, but when it's reading for the fun of it…erm, where's the fun in trying to fly through it with the speed of light? 😮 So, talking about the speed of light, talking about the stars, universe, and life…*fist bumps!*. Everything else becomes so futile when you think of the giant universe and how everything works :3
