Monthly Wrap Up: September

September, where did you go? I started school this month, got back into rhythm with my job, and I only read three books! But they were all very good books, so I digress.

October TBR:

I managed to read two of the books I had on my September TBR, which I’m pretty proud of! I’m a total impulse reader, so the fact that I actually stuck to a plan makes me ridiculously happy.

There is a literal wealth of October-themed quotes, but I’ll settle for my favourite:

I hope all of your Octobers are off to a good start! Happy Tuesday!

I'm Emma Kath. Welcome to my blog! This is where I post my original book reviews, litstyle (lifestyle for the lit-nerd), and other bookish things. A little about me: I'm Canadian, and currently a student majoring in English lit and cultural studies. I'm an introvert (INFJ, if you believe in that sort of thing), sarcastic to the bone, I love art and history, and hope to one day travel around a bit. Until then, I'll be reading, writing, and trying to spread a little kindness around the internet. If you have any questions or inquiries, feel free to contact me!

  1. Seeing Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom on your read list makes me so happy and the ratings too. I am currently reading Crooked Kingdom and loving it oh so much. I really hope you enjoy all the books for October, especially my fave This Savage Song!

    1. Oh I know what you mean – I read Crooked Kingdom in a solid 48 hours. I absolutely loved it! I also actually finished This Savage Song yesterday (wrote this post a few days ago lol) and I loved it too! 😄 Thanks so much!

  2. I loved This Savage Song! I need to get a copy of Crooked Kingdom at some point, even though I haven’t read Six of Crows yet (but the covers are BEAUTIFUL), but I’m making my way to Leigh Bardugo this year. I’m in the middle of Ember in the Ashes this month! I’m loving it so far 😀

    1. I only read Six of Crows a few weeks ago, and I agree, they’re some of the most beautiful covers I’ve seen this year! I highly recommend them. And I’m so glad to hear you like An Ember in the Ashes; I think that might be what I’ll read next! 😄
